Acrylat Gels
WEBAC® 240 + Bseal I
- Classic Line
- Consolidation Line
During the construction of a new urban villa with an outdoor basement garden, a leaky expansion joint with heavy water flow was discovered at one of the exterior corners. The polymer-reinforced polyacrylate injection gel WEBAC 240+Bseal I was used to specifically seal the affected expansion joint.

After the joint area had been completely cleared, drill holes were drilled and packers installed. The joint was then sealed with a WEBAC EPDM hammer-in profile and barrier mortar to divert the water pressure in a controlled manner through the packers. The grouting was performed at low pressure, allowing the grout to gradually displace the infiltrating water from the joint. The injection, including any necessary follow-up injections, continued until the area could no longer absorb any more material and the gel was visible in the packers or oozed out in a thread-like stream. Thanks to this coordinated approach, the affected expansion joint was sealed effectively and permanently.
Acrylat Gels
WEBAC 240 + Bseal I is a polymer-reinforced polyacrylate injection gel with excellent adhesion to dry, damp, and wet substrates, as well as to foils and membranes. After curing, the gel remains dimensionally stable and exhibits very little volume loss. Thanks to its elasticity and adhesive strength, it is suitable for sealing expansion joints, damaged sheet and membrane waterproofing, as well as for sealing annular gaps in tunnel lining construction.
