Dispersion for Walls and Floors
WEBAC® 5611
- Classic Line
The Rahnsdorf village church was built between 1886 and 1888 on the foundation remains of a previous structure. With its striking west tower, polygonal east end, and Romanesque-Gothic design elements, it continues to dominate the historic village center of Rahnsdorf to this day. After a devastating fire, the church was completely rebuilt and is now considered one of the architecturally significant church buildings in the Treptow-Köpenick district.

As part of a partial renovation of the facade structure, the exterior concrete slopes above the entrance portal were repaired. Following proper substrate preparation and the reprofiling of damaged concrete areas, two coats of WEBAC 5611 were applied. The bitumen-acrylate dispersion forms a thin, waterproof membrane and provides long-term protection for the repaired concrete surfaces against moisture.
In the transition area to the zinc sheet covering, reinforcing mesh was additionally embedded into the waterproofing. After curing, the surface was coated with a weather-resistant facade paint.
The measure contributes to the sustainable preservation of the historic building fabric and ensures the long-term preservation of the entrance portal.
Dispersion for Walls and Floors
WEBAC 5611 is a reactive bitumen-acrylate dispersion that adheres well to a wide variety of substrates and has crack-bridging properties. The hydrophobic effect of the bitumen component creates a waterproof seal with reliable protection against leaching by salts harmful to structures. This makes WEBAC 5611 suitable for surface waterproofing against hydrostatic pressure in building construction, civil engineering, and historic preservation.
