PU Injection Resins
WEBAC® 1401
- Classic Line
At the Petersberg Citadel in Erfurt, one of Europe’s most significant Baroque city fortresses, a comprehensive moisture remediation project was carried out in the casemate level of the commandant’s house. The work took place in an area where the walls were up to 2 meters thick—a structural challenge that required precisely coordinated measures.

WEBAC 1610 was used for solidification of the masonry. The PU injection resin was specifically injected to a depth of 80 cm, along the edges of the arches, and into the corners to create a frame-like reinforcement structure. In addition, the material was also applied to deeper sections of the wall to provide structural reinforcement for the masonry in preparation for a planned opening.
WEBAC 1401 was used on the surface areas of the arches—a WTA-compliant PU resin for solidification in masonry. After removing individual layers of the wall structure, WEBAC 5611 was applied, a special product for moisture-regulating treatment of plaster surfaces. This was applied over the entire surface of the thin plaster and then painted over.
These measures ensure long-term structural preservation while maintaining the historic fabric—balancing the conflicting demands of historic preservation and functional repurposing.

PU Injection Resins
WEBAC 1401 is a very low-viscosity PU injection resin with good flow and penetration properties that can be used on dry, damp, or wet masonry. It cures into a volume-stable, elastic resin with minimal foaming. Due to its capillary-blocking and solidifying properties, it is particularly suitable for post-construction damp proof courses (dpc) in accordance with WTA standards, especially for larger masonry cross-sections.
Dispersion for Walls and Floors
WEBAC 5611 is a reactive bitumen-acrylate dispersion that adheres well to a wide variety of substrates and has crack-bridging properties. The hydrophobic effect of the bitumen component creates a waterproof seal with reliable protection against leaching by salts harmful to structures. This makes WEBAC 5611 suitable for surface waterproofing against hydrostatic pressure in building construction, civil engineering, and historic preservation.
PU Injection Resins
WEBAC 1610 is a high-strength PU injection resin whose compressive and bending tensile strength is specifically designed for structural bonding in masonry. When mixed with water, it foams slightly; however, under dry conditions, it cures without foaming into a compact, waterproof material. It is suitable for sealing, solidification, and structural bonding of building components, as well as for filling cavities/voids, and is specifically designed for use in masonry.
