PU Injection Foam Resins
WEBAC® 157
- Classic Line
The property is a city villa built in 1923, which has been completely renovated. The load-bearing masonry consists mainly of red solid bricks laid in lime-cement mortar. In some areas, the original masonry has been supplemented with new bricks. The walls are up to 50 cm thick.

The city villa showed significant moisture penetration in the exterior and interior masonry, caused by capillary rising damp. This condition posed a permanent threat to the building fabric and required targeted waterproofing measures.
A post-construction damp proof course (dpc) was installed to provide permanent waterproofing. The injection was carried out with a WEBAC high-pressure membrane pump using PU injection resin WEBAC 1403 to prevent capillary moisture distribution in the masonry. PU injection foam resin WEBAC 157 was also used for potential cavities/voids in the masonry.
The preparatory work included:
These measures provide lasting moisture protection and contribute significantly to preserving the substance of the historic building.
PU Injection Foam Resins
WEBAC 157 is an elastic PU injection foam resin (SPU) with a very fine-pored foam structure. Upon contact with water, this low-viscosity material forms a surface-tight, adaptable foam. It is suitable for temporarily closing, sealing, and filling cracks, cavities/voids, and gaps in masonry, concrete, and natural stone—e.g., in shaft construction and water management structures—and can also be used where there is limited movement of structural components.
PU Injection Resins
WEBAC 1403 is a long-track-record proven PU injection resin, particularly valued for its safe and controlled application. Upon contact with water, it cures into a closed, waterproof, and dimensionally stable resin with a fine pore structure. It is suitable for sealing, crack injection, and stabilizing masonry and concrete, and is used for post-construction damp proof courses (dpc) against capillary rising damp.
